The boat dropped us off on an island with no name on Google Maps.
There was a warung selling cold drinks, a hammock tied between two palms, and about forty meters of white sand with nobody on it. That was it. That was everything.
I had on the smocked top and flowy maxi skirt set — the kind of outfit that feels dressed up and effortless at the same time. The skirt caught the breeze every time I moved. The smocked top stayed put through snorkeling, lunch, and an impromptu nap in said hammock.
Indonesia does this to you. It slows you all the way down. And when you're moving that slowly, what you're wearing actually matters — because you're living in it, not just passing through.
The Indonesia Mood: No itinerary. No signal. Just warm water, white sand, and a co-ord set that photographs like a dream against all of it.
